Laura Hulthen Thomas

Laura Hulthen Thomas’s work has appeared in The Cimarron Review, Nimrod International Journal, Epiphany, Witness, and many others. She received her MFA in fiction writing from the Warren Wilson Program for Writing. Her short story collection, STATES OF MOTION (Wayne State University Press, 2017) was a finalist for a Foreword Reviews Indie Award. Her novel, THE MEANING OF FEAR, is forthcoming from Regal House Publishing. She currently heads the undergraduate creative writing program at the University of Michigan’s Residential College, where she teaches fiction and creative nonfiction.
